Blank screen / error allocation memory was created by Tengu webDesign
Well, after a long search I found out why my site does display on my local server, but not on the remote server. The blank screen was caused by the latest version of Simple Gallery Pro. When I found that out I could set it to debug mode and this error turned up:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 10368 bytes) in /var/.../httpdocs/temp/plugins/content/jw_sigpro/sigpro.engine.php on line 209

Any way to solve this? Shall I inform my host (almost 34 MB of allowed menmory size occupied seems rather much?) Or is it a Simple Image Gal. Pro fault?

Any help appreciated for this eye-candy-of-a-gallery! BTW: I am using: plg_jw_sigpro-v2.0.4_j15

Hi there!

This is an error reported by the server, when the server doesn't have enough memory to create the thumbs of the gallery.
The best solution is to ask your server administrator increase this memory limit
or split your gallery in 2 or more content items in order to have fewer images in the gallery.

Thank you!

Ok, thank you. Well, the gallery is only four images big ... so I'll ask the server people ... their server must be able to decrease four images, right ;) ?

Thanks for helping out

Hmmm... only 4 images!?!  ???
Could you please send me a direct link to the gallery?
I'm curious to see the size of the images! Are the more than 1 MB?

Have you tried to use the same images and sigpro in another server just to check the result?

Thank you!

Ah ... look at the frontpage:
macdonaldmontage.nl/temp/

(temporary location) One of the images was 5MB. Sized it down and the gallery started working. But, take a look at this one:
macdonaldmontage.nl/temp/index.php/projecten (you should see the error)

That page that wants to display four galleries. One the same as the one on the frontpage, and three wanting to show another gallery. That other gallery only contains 6 images; none larger than 1MB (though some of 900kb)

Hmmm... could you please post the totally size of the 4 galleries?
probably the total size is bigger that server can support.

You should ask your administrator the increase of the memory limit
I don't think that it will be a problem for him!  ;)
