Am trying 2.04 this time hoping that this time it will just simply install ... no luck!
Error:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1046044 bytes) in /home/xxxxx/public_html/xxx/libraries/joomla/filesystem/archive/zip.php on line 325

Can't you just state simply and CLEARLY what must be done to get this installed?? This is incredibly frustrating ... installing via tmp/ as you recommended in a prior post (referencing 2.0.3) produces errors too, namely:
"It was not possible to copy the selected file.
JInstaller::install: Failed to copy file: /home/xxx/public_html/xxx/tmp/install_jw_sigpro/jw_sigpro.php to /home/xxx/public_html/plugins/content/jw_sigpro.php"

I've changed permissions, u name it and have sat out a version waiting for this to get corrected.  This is so frustrating plus, I've spent too much time trying to understand how to install it.  Why can't this be a simple install like most other extensions??

Hi!

Hmmm... Can you tell me the size of the images?
Also, you can make a search in this forum, using the words
Code:
Fatal error Allowed memory

You'll find many posts about the modification of the php.ini file.

Thank you!

have you tried refining your search? have I tried not helping?

this is awesome, whenever anyone posts that they have the same installation problem with SIG pro, the fatal error thing, the "experts" on this forum just ask them to refine their search with certain key words.
also, I purchased SIG pro and have not been able to install it. I email the sites "support" people every day because I cannot find the answer to this problem and they don't ever email back. is this program a scam or something?

I"m going to keep posting this same message all over this board until I get an answer...

I am having the same problem.  I have searched the forums and I am not finding an answer.  As I have not yet installed the app, there is obviously no problem with the size of my photos.  Here are the actions I have taken.

Upped memory limit to 32M (which seems ridiculous for an installation) as well as tried to up it in the php file.  This should not be an issue since I have successfully upped it to 64M before.

On installation, received the following error:

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 36700160) (tried to allocate 1046044 bytes) in /usr/local/apache/canopytours/new/libraries/joomla/filesystem/archive/zip.php on line 325

Upped memory limit to 64MB

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 262144 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 4864 bytes) in /usr/local/apache/canopytours/new/administrator/includes/toolbar.php on line 158

This seems to be a problem with the plugin.  I have previously installed a different version of 2.0 on another server through the same host with no problem.

I agree that it is very likely that this problem is related to the 2.0.4 release I use a work around for it.

I install the 2.0.3 version and then ftp the files for the 2.0.4 version over the 2.0.3 files, I agree its not an elegant way to solve it but it works for me so far.
