There seems to be padding around the thumbnail preventing copy text from aligning flush with the top and/or the bottom of the image.  Is there any way to adjust this?  Edit CSS?

How do you align text with the top of the picture and get it to wrap closer to the bottom of the picture?

Try putting the margin top and padding top of the ul.sig-container to zero and let me know what happens then.

The class I'm referring to is in plugins->content->jw_sigpro->templates->"template you are using"->template.css.

It affected the top padding but not the bottom.  The text still wraps too far below the image.  Anything I can change that will affect that?

Sorry my mistake I didn't clarify that you also need to make zero the bottom padding-margins.

For example, I think that the class has the margin: 8px auto !important; and padding:8px 0 !important;
Just put margin:0 auto !important; and padding:0 !important;

I actually had changed that to zero and it works if I put the image and text in a table.  Outside of a table it still wraps too far below the image.  Unless you can think of something else I can change that affects the bottom padding, then I'll use a table.  Thanks.

Have you checked all classes you have for img element in your template just in case there is a bottom margin, padding or something that affects the images? Even the line-height of the text could be responsible.

Maybe you could post a link to your site in order to locate the problem and provide a solution instead of guessing what it could be?

I will check into the things you mentioned.  In an earlier post, I provided a screen shot of the problem and said I'd provide a username and password if needed since the site is offline, but this wasn't requested.  Thanks for the suggestion.
