I recently bought the Simple Image Gallery v2.0.4 from Joomlaworks. The plugin was installed and published, along with a content article named portfolio. To simply call out the gallery to show up, you basically type {gallery}portfolio{/gallery}

This will call out the image folder in the root directory of joomla under images/portfolio. When I follow this method and navigate to the page on which i'm calling out the gallery to appear: adrielandmelissaartist.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=57&Itemid=59 it displays this message: "Image folder specified does not exist". I would greatly appreciate your help on getting this to work correctly, thank you.

Check if the path you have put in the plugin corresponds to the path in which the folder of the photos you are trying to load to the site is.

Thanks for your prompt reply, yes I have checked the root path under the plugin and it is correct: images/portfolio

On the content article, I am calling out the gallery by doing this: {gallery}portfolio{/gallery}

When you set the path in the plugin you don't put the folder the photos are directly. What you have set means that the plugin searches for the photos inside the folder images/portfolio/portfolio.

If you want to load the images of the folder portfolio you should set at the plugin path only images/
Then go to your article and put exaclty what you have put. {gallery}portfolio{/gallery}
Now you tell the plugin that your photos are in the folder images/portfolio.

Hope it's clear :)
