Sorry, the label.txt problem again was created by Halley's Design, Inc.
I have installed v2.0.4, set the parameters for the root folder to: images/stories and set "Default caption (label) handling" to: Read contents of caption files

Then, the path for the folder of images is: images/stories/futureplans

So, in the article, I have: {gallery}futureplans:200:150:0:0{/gallery}

What am I doing wrong? I cannot get the labels.txt document to generate. I've tried different "fixes" – making sure the parameters were set before setting the path, re-naming and re-coding the path in hopes of "refreshing" the creation of the .txt file. Nothing is working... including me!

Any help greatly appreciated. By the way, can I manually set up that .txt document?

Have you checked if the folder inside the images/stories has permissions to write?

Yes, it was 755 and I even changed it to 777 to see if anything would happen.

Went into the article, "cut" the {gallery}futureplans:200:150:0:0{/gallery} line, saved the page. Then, went back into it and "pasted" the code and saved... no .txt file created in futureplans directory.

Would it do ANY good to completely un-install and re-install the plugin? I've GOT to get some captions on these images!

Thanks again for any help,

Have you tried to create it by yourself inside the gallery folder and see if it works then?
