Installation problems (Warning: file_put_contents) was created by Hildegard Schaffrath

I just purchased your Simpleimagegallery Plugin and wondered why instead of a success-message the following text was displayed:

Warning: file_put_contents(/customers/webs/21041/www/XXXXXX/tmp/install_4ac5bce024a13/) [function.file-put-contents]: failed to open stream: Is a directory in /customers/webs/21041/www/XXXXXX/libraries/joomla/filesystem/file.php on line 298

The directories /cache and /tmp are CHMOD 777

What can I do to make the component work?
Every other component is installable,
