i installed simple image gallery and it worked wonderfully enough to pay the 12euros for the sig pro version. However when i run the pro version i just get a blank page. When i turned on debugging i get the following: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 5176 bytes) in /home/sites/leonmediatest.co.uk/public_html/yogadharma/plugins/content/jw_sigpro/sigpro.engine.php on line 209

Any ideas?

This is an error reported by the server, when the server doesn't have enough memory to create the thumbs of the gallery.
The best solution is to ask your server administrator increase this memory limit
or split your gallery in 2 or more content items in order to have fewer images in the gallery.

(Hope you have uninstalled SIG before install SIG Pro).

Same here.

But it worked fine until today, and i have just two pics inside the folder for testing. From this very morning, all i have is a blank page.

If i activate debug mode, i get the same error above...

Solved for me... you were right  :-[

I changed my index.php at some development step, forgetting to add the ini_set("memory_limit","20M");

That's why i got the blank page.

For people with the same problem:
If your host allow you to increase the memory, ask for them.
If your host doesn't allow you to do it, try this on the .htaccess:
php_value memory_limit 16M

if it doesn't work, add the
ini_set("memory_limit","16M");
at the index.php

Remember the more modules you load, the more memory you will need, so keep on focus when adding thousands of different modules-plugins-componets to your site!
