I have installed SIG into joomla 1.5, it has caused me some issues on this site but I am sure that I can resolve the issues as sig really is worth it.

The thumb titles come up ok but when I open the image to have a closer look at what the photo description is I find that some characters have been replaced with  �

I am not able to work out what has happened here?

It is totally random and causing me some issues.

Any advice would be great!

Did you save the labels.txt file with UTF-8 encoding?

Im guessing not :-(

Could you advise me on how I do that.

Find the folder labels.txt, open it, and save with UTF-8 encoding. Simple as that...
