Thumbnail cache expiration time was created by Salamander

i have still problems with Thumbnail in the cache-directory :-(

question:
i have see the parameter "Thumbnail cache expiration time"
what is the highest value for this paramterer?

my idee is. the Thumbnail should create only once and valid for all the time.

is it possible ???

Adding a value in this field of SIG PRO settings you do not have to wait to create all thumbnails every time gallery is loaded. You have a thumbnail cache because you may add or remove images-thumbnails...

but if i add some new img or thumbnails, i jus tput 0 again, let it create and put max back.

So what is the max value to be used?

As the img isnt changing anymore so no need for cache expire value at all. Can that cache be set as never expire too? or just add some big number?

Add something like 120' and you will not have any problem.

i set 9999' and thats not the solution, it will recache after that time. So how to disable cache forever? So it newer expires.

Yes, i understand that, but if the gallery on site doesnt change, that option should be turned off, isnt it?

No... As I said before, if your gallery will not be changed, your cache must be enabled in order to have a better performance.
