I need to give images numbers for identification - preferably with the photo number the camera creates. Is there a simple way to do this, since i can't just export exif data to simple image?

If i could import the address of the file to the title, that'd work.

I persume you are using the option of show captions, so I can tell you that you can put the number you want to the image title inside the labels.txt file (the one you edit in order to have different captions to each photo).
Is it something that you want to be viewable inside the gallery or not?

The issue is numbering a large volume of images - say 600 from each shoot. Labeling each would take a long time. It doesn't matter so much what the number is, so long as it's unique to each pic in a gallery. But it would be ideal if it was the number the camera has given the image.

I'm afraid that I can't think of any other way for you to number your images except the one I offered you above. You will have to put them manually inside the labels.txt file.

No only does it make thumbnails, resize images but you can add auto-numbers
