I have K2 installed and it's driving about 90% of my website.  It's an awesome component with massive capabilities.

I purchased SIG Pro today so that we could fulfill the client's requirements for photo galleries within the pages and also a photo gallery section.  First, I tried used the smarty tag for SIG in a K2 category description and it would not work.  The K2 categories house the content for our single pages (pages that do not necessary have any sub-content) and we use the category description for the page content.  The smarty tag just echoed the tag text - but did not render any images.

So I tried creating a K2 item and uploading a ZIP file to the image gallery tab.  This worked (although it will cause MUCH more work on our end and additional confusion and work for the client having to ZIP their images before uploading).  However, when I go back to edit the K2 item, none of the tabs work and all the scripts on the page break. 

What's going on - with both --- or either?  I need a solution here.  Thanks!

Make sure to have a Mootools template selected inside the plugin's parameters for the K2 to be compatible with the SIG Pro.

As for the tag {gallery} usage please provide a link to your site so as to take a look.

I have the same problems as k2_02:

Purchased SIG Pro to be able to use the gallery function with K2. After uploading a zip file none of the tabs work. Also the HTML editor does not show up on the content editing page.

Go inside the SIG Pro plugin and right where it says "Popup engine for image galleries" select one of those that are Mootools based.
