I'm using SOBI2 to make a sort of gallery of images and videos, and it's supposed to be very flexible and contain lots of subjects. With SOBI2 being the main component, I am using SIG Pro for picture galleries and want to use AllVideos for the movies. (both running under Tabs 'n Slides) However, there is one thing I'm particularly interested in achieving - a uniform look throughout my site. Therefore it's important that galleries and videos are shown in the same way.
SIG Pro comes with the ColorBox popup engine and that's the one I'm using for the images. In SIG however, the ColorBox version appears to be outdated and I have therefore modded in the later version which allows the ColorBox to display images, matching the size of the user's screen. (this was done using the original script from
ColorPowered.com

Now, AllVideos does not have any of this functionality at all and in order to combat this problem I have simply integrated ColorBox on my site and wanted to call the script when necessary from within SOBI2.
And it works - by allowing script tags and JPlugins in SOBI2, I can call the ColorBox script directly from an entry in SOBI2 and include the AllVideos plugin, which will then be processed - thus showing the video in a nice ColorBox popup.
Problem : Doing this kills the previous instance of the script, called from the SIG Pro plugin, causing my picture galleries to fail. (images are shown in a new window/tab instead of a popup) It seems like calling the ColorBox script a second time kills off the first instance (which is inside the SIG plugin) and therefore nothing happens in SIG.

- of SIG Pro working fine alongside AllVideos, both shown in Tabs 'n Slides. AllVideos is not using the ColorBox on this page and SIG works just fine using the ColorBox popup.

- of AllVideos using the ColorBox popup. The script is called from within SOBI2 and works, but SIG now fails to work. The picture gallery shows but the popup function is not working any more.
Question : How can I integrate and use the original ColorBox script alongside the one used in SIG Pro, without having the two of them conflict? I have tried a number of approaches, i.e. calling the script a second time from the directory under the SIG Pro plugin, and also modifying the AllVideos pluging to use the ColorBox popup instead of just displaying its contents - both attempts with no joy.

As an alternative to manually integrating the original ColorBox, I was looking into using the
Art Colorbox Plugin
instead, but as it doesn't do videos (as far as I know) and I'm not actually sure it'll solve the problem for me, I am not going to spend money on it at this time. If anyone has experience with this plugin, any feedback would be appreciated.
But primarily I'm looking to solve this the manual way in order that I can use SIG Pro, AllVideos and Tabs 'n Slides as my 'drivers' under SOBI2 - the solution seems stable and they all function very well together!
