I've been through every discussion I can find about SIG Pro and K2. I'm having two problems with the image gallery.

I'm getting the UNKNOWN ARCHIVE error.  It works in IE - but not Firefox.  I can live with that, but maybe a symptom of the problem.

Thumbs still don't display.  I've tried everything I can find about code hacks, hacked SIG Free, settings, etc..etc... 

I really really want to use K2 for these upcoming sites - but I need these image galleries to work.  I have two licenses for SIG Pro.

Is it possible my hosting account with GODaddy is to blame?  I like to use them despite the rumors of problems with Joomla sites.  I really don't want to move my account to another host - but if there's a chance it will fix the problem, I might take the hit.

What do I do?

maybe your issue is being related.
However, I cannot see blank thumbnails both in Firefox and IE...

The thumbs don't work in any browser - the ARCHIVE ERROR for uploading in K2 is only in only in Firefox.  This seems to be a common problem.

Ugh!  I really want to use K2 - but this gallery problem is a deal-killer!
