Hello. I'm a freelance reporter / blogger and have my Joomla 1.x site live for about 3 years. I have several commercial plugins amongst them the SIGP (latest version). In my articles I use a lot of images but most of the time several images in one gallery respond to a part of the text, other images belong to another portion of the text.
Now, I can show all images in one folder in one big sheet of thumbs where the readers can select the image they want to pup op.
Perhaps it is possible to add another parameter to the syntax line to show a specific number of images in that list.
Example: I have 30 images in a folder named "KTMRC8"
In the first part of the text (or even first tab) I like to add 6 images talking about technical stuff. {gallery}KTMRC8:300:200:0:0:6{/gallery}
The last parameter "6" would show the first 6 images of the folder.
In the second part, I like to talk about riding and have 20 images I want to show. I would add {gallery}KTMRC8:300:200:0:0:20{/gallery}
and so on...
I don't know if this is possible but it would be great to split up the folder in different albums in the content.
Second request: Extra parameter to override the default setting allowing the user or reader to download the original image on the server.
I nom am obligated to allow readers to download ALL my images because I have several images that I share to use as dektop background pictures. These are free to use.
However I would like to block some more specific images. I know one can always copy but nevertheless I would be great to put a "0" or "1" in the tag disabling or enabling download features ...
Thanks for looking at my requests.
Regards, Phil
