I suspect this is going into a black hole as no one from Joomlaworks seems to be watching this forum lately but as the vaunted version 2.1 has not yet come out it seems worth a punt.

Is it possible to have a {album}tag, similar to what is available in the nextgen gallery for Wordpress?

The one big flaw with the current system is you only get two options. You can display all the images from a gallery on a page or you can have a single image that starts a slideshow, The one thing however that does not seem to be available it to have a single image that opens to a gallery of images.

This means you cannot have a number of galleries on one page with a single thumbnail for each gallery. Surely it would not be too difficult to have one additional tab called say {album} where you could list a number of folders and have them display the same as for a gallery but with each thumbnail opening up a gallery in thumbnail view.

Having a third display mode on gallery would be another way of doing it. ie '0' for normal mode '1' for single thumbnail that starts a slideshow and '2' for a single thumbnail that opens the gallery as normal thumbs instead.

An album view would complete this cool gallery program.
