Thanks a lot for the great product .. I can't believe how have this product has not come to my attention for this time.

Anyways, I gotten K2 to work how I want it and have purchased the SIG PRO however I am unable to get it to work. Each time I try to upload a zip file, it does everything and I get the "item saved successfully" message however nothing shows up nor get saved anywhere.

I tried all I can think of, tried giving the images/stories folder 777 permission and it did not work. I have deleted the folder and created it using iXtplorer and it still did not work.

I can't think of anything else to get it to work. I am guessing that something is being done wrongly as the images are not being saved.

I would appreciate the support.

When I tried to upload a zip file with images I got the following error:

        * JFTP::mkdir: Bad response
        * JFTP::chmod: Bad response
        * Unable to create destination
        * Gallery upload error: Cannot extract archive!

The folder media/k2/galleries is being used for the galleries of K2. You should check the permissions of these folders and you will be able to upload correctly the zip file and furthermore your gallery.

I had exactly the same problem as you.

K2 worked fine locally uploading image galleries using Simple Image Gallery pro.
Made the website live and it didn't work anymore.

You would upload a zip file, click Apply, comes up saying Changes Successful but no Image Gallery was uploaded - not a single image.

I found out that my live server had a PHP 'Upload Limit' of 2Mbs......
All the test zip files full of images were over 2mbs and thus didn't work.

Chnage your server Upload Limit to say 50Mbs and works a charm once again :)

i have checked the permissions of these folders media/k2/

755 end owner is ftp user

the Upload Limit is 8mb but I can not upload any image!
