Hi,

I have Simple Image Gallery (Pro), which i have set up, but i can`t get it to work. All i get is ” Image folder specified does not exist!”. I have tried all combinations of paths, but i just can`t get it working.

The path to my images is: images/stories/galleries/

The root folder path i have set up in Image Gallery is:

images/stories/galleries/

Any help please.

Inside the folder galleries do you have any other folders or just the images?

Let's say your images path is images/stories/galleries and inside you have a folder named gallery1 which contains the images.

Inside the plugin your path should be images/stories/galleries and inside the item you should write {gallery}gallery1{/gallery}.

I'm doing and not working
{gallery}images/stories/english{/gallery}
within the English are the pictures folder :'(
Image folder specified does not exist!

The right way to write the gallery is the following:

{gallery}english{/gallery}

You don't have to put the images/stories/ again because you have already define it inside the plugin.

I have and so does not work, the setting is "images/stories/English" and the code on the page I put this: {gallery}english{/gallery}

The setting should be images/stories and the tag {gallery}english{/gallery}

I am having the same problem


First I have to say it all worked perfect!!

I use the "Root folder for image galleries"

images/stories

So on my Site I wrote the inside that folder where I stored the pics,

in this case folder

"bilder"

It worked perfect showing me all images as I added

{gallery}bilder{/gallery}

to my document.

Then I experimented and tried adding

:300:160:0:1

so I had

{gallery}bilder:300:160:0:1{/gallery}


Since then I only get

Image folder specified does not exist!

I have deinstalled, reinstalled, deleted the document, checked via FTP to see if all was deleted and reinstalled everything.

Strangly, leaving the system off overnight and reeinstalling this morning once again showed all immages in the simple

{gallery}bilder{/gallery}

mode!

New trying out

{gallery}bilder:300:160:0:1{/gallery}

left me with the same problem as before .... No Pics showing!!

I have tried adding all combinations in the document!

{gallery}www.xxxxxxx.com/joomla/images/stories/bilder{/gallery}

{gallery}joomla/images/stories/bilder{/gallery}

{gallery}images/stories/bilder{/gallery}

{gallery}stories/bilder{/gallery}

{gallery}bilder{/gallery}


All I get is

    * Image folder specified does not exist!

JoomlaWorks "Simple Image Gallery PRO" Plugin v2.0.5 on Joomla! 1.5.15

and had version

JoomlaWorks "Simple Image Gallery PRO" Plugin v2.0.4 till this morning.

I also have the same problem. Get the Image folder specified does not exist! in every folder and i know i am using this plugin correctly. Uninstall and reinstall does not solve the problem

I assumed I would have to put the first image in the path . I did not know that it just picked the first image automatically. All working now. Thanks

and write article content {gallery}galery1{/gallery}, I have galleries in a folder called galery1

I do not understand, if you buy the module because it serves?
