When saving please keep in mind to save in UTF-8 encoding.
Then you upload the updated labels.txt files to the same location.

Any plans for a feature that allows adding image captions in a more "simple" way, for example by adding a text string to the plugin code ({gallery}summer_trip_to_italy,some-label-here{/gallery}) or an extended editor plugin?

First of all you have to enable the option inside the plugin (Read contents of caption files). Then when you browse to your galleries inside the folder path you have specified you will find in each gallery folder a labels.txt file. This file is generated automatically when you select the option. If for any reason you don't see a labels.txt file inside these folders you can put it manually by yourself. The labels.txt file has the following form:
image1.jpg|Title|<b>Description</b>
You can use HTML as you can see!
image2.jpg|Title|<b>Description</b>
You can use HTML as you can see!
image3.jpg||<b>Description</b>
You can use HTML as you can see!

...
When saving please keep in mind to save in UTF-8 encoding.
Then you upload the updated labels.txt files to the same location.
Hi,
Thanks I have found the text file. This is probably going to sound really stupid, but how do I open the text file :-[ :-[
