Silly question, but I didn't find anything on this topic on the documentation, neither on this forum with keywords such as "how to" "upgrade" "v2"...

Do I have to uninstall v1 before install v2. Do my settings are preserved?

It's always sensible to do upgrade an a production site.

Because you have an old version you must fully uninstall it and reinstall from the begining the new one. ;)

If I perform an uninstall then reinstall the new version will we lose the "slides" or will they be preserved?

If not can I export the contents of a table then import to the new table once the new version is installed?

The images are not saved in the plugin but in your server. So since you install the latest version you will not have any problem at all since the old images will display as before.
