Hi,

I am using SIG Pro in a K2 installation. The web browsers (IE and Firefox) doesn't interpret the image labels correctly when I try to put extended characters (like Swedish å ä ö) in the label.txt.

For example:

ö turns into
ö stays the same

The website has the local language in question so all characters work elsewhere.

How may I solve it?

Rgds

Try saving the labels.txt file in UTF-8 encoding.

OK, it works. I was fooled by the labels.txt (saved in ISO 8859-1) created by SIG that I downloaded from the gallery at the server. But it need to be saved without signature otherwise the label of the first image doesn't show although it's in place in the txt file.

Thanks!

You just have to go to Modify -> Page properties -> Title/Encoding and you choose there the encoding as UTF-8.
