I have installed SIGPRO and it does not work. I have various symptoms:

- Prefs of the plugin are left as as, only the galleries directory and temp directory is amended. Temp directory his correct UNIX rights.
- Thumbnail gallery is shown correctly
- When an image is clicked, the larger picture is shown and ONLY for this first image the PREV NEXT and CLOSE labels are shown.
- When PREV or NEXT is clicked, the corresponding picture is shown. This picture DOES NOT SHOW  the PREV, NEXT and CLOSE pictures. Only closing the browser window will close the picture.

really weird and frustrating. Stange thing is, it used to work on the same server but with another template. Is SIGPRO template dependant then? Any requirements for the template to check?

Any insight greatly appreciated. Thanks !

Try first to change the Popup Engine from the mambot.

After that, and if with this way don't have the results you want

I have solved it by adding a js library to the template. Now it works consistently. I would have appreciated it very much if you guys could add this kind of information to your documentation. In that respect your documentation is very poor. It would have saved me a lot of time too.

From curiosity, can you please tell us about what js library you are talking?!
This plugin dasn't want to put some js library on your template to work... this is a bit strange... ???

Yes, there are templates where the plugin doesn't work good but, in the sticky threads you will see some helpfull informations from Fotis, how to overpass those issues!

Before all these, have you tried to disenable the joomla cache?
Most of the times is the reason for this issues.

it's either slimbox.js, mootools.v1.00.js or rt_tools_packed.js . I'm guesing it's the first one that will do alone as well, but maybe rt_tools_packed.js might work as well.

All from RocketTheme templates.

It may be strange, but it sure was the one thing that made this plugin work in an otherwise 'bare' template. I guess the installer should check wether these libraries are already available in the template already, and otherwise install them for you.

Can you direct me to some of Fotis' sugegstions. I'd hate to go through the entire forum archive if I can help it... :(

And yes, of course I tried all the obvious solutions, including the fewones mentioned  in the online plugin doc.

is such a check is not possible, then please explain why your plugin only works if I add these plugins? They appear to be necessary?  What of those script libraries includes the neccesary script????

And why don't you then include the necessary parts of this script in your code ?

Having problems with templates from Joomlart.
Seems like the same problem as you are talking about here.
Just changed the templae, and SIG PRO worked fine on the old template.

You are talking about sticky notes and libraries, but no one here seas in plane words what can be done.

Can someone please tell me where to find the sticky notes, and how do I add libraries to the template?

Go to the backend of your website, choose from the menu: Mambots / Site Mambots. Then select Simple Image Gallery Pro.

On the right site you see parameters. the first parameter is the Popup Engine.
