Popup engine for image galleries was created by robert stewart

i noticed that on a few of the "popup engine for image galleries" selections when i click on the thumbnail to popup the actual image, it will popup 2 different lightboxes and so i have to close 2 of them to get back the web site. there are a couple, however that will only popup one image.

why is it doing this?

Did you notice this with only the engine you have selected or it happens to all engines?

actually, it only seems to happen to Slimbox and Slimbox2

There is a possibility for this to be happening if the mootools library is already loaded. Could you select a jQuery based popup engine and let me know of the results?

this only is happening with Slimbox and Slimbox2. Slimbox2 is a JQuery. Slimbox is a Mootools. i have Slimbox2 loaded now.

i do have another gallery-type in another page. its Yash Vyas's slider gallery, style2. could it be conflicting with that?

This might be the case. Try unpublishing the other gallery and try again.
