Calling SIGPro from PHP code within article? was created by MICHAEL LEWIS
I tried browsing the forum and then searching, but my search terms are pretty common and I'm not finding quite the answer I need. I found one query that might be similar here , but there is no answer on that yet.

Is it possible to call SIGPro from within PHP code? What I am attempting is to put a thumbnail gallery on a series of real estate listings called up in a snippet of PHP code I have placed in a Joomla article via the Jumi plugin (so tinymce doesn't mung up the code). First looks indicate just dropping my {gallery}filename{gallery} into the PHP code won't work because all the plugin stuff is done before the PHP would run, correct?

The beginnings of the listings page is here:

www.loisdelaney.com/montenew/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=5&Itemid=3

The "VIEW PHOTOS" would actually be a thumbnail linking to a gallery.

Is there a way to do this, or is SIGPro not the tool I want to use for this? Or, maybe I'm making this more difficult than it is?

Thanks for any help or ideas you might have or can point me to.

I didn't quite understand why you just don't want to call the {gallery}{/gallery} inside a Joomla article.

Hello Yiota!

You're absolutely right and I feel kind of stupid now. :) My first tries didn't work. I was getting "Folder not found" errors for my image folder, and I thought the problem was that using the {gallery} tags in PHP in an article just didn't work like that. But your simple statement made me look at it one more time, and this time I tried it without any parameters (just {gallery} and not {gallery|width|height|display|caption}) and it worked just fine.

I can set the default parameters in the plugin for what I need in the listings galleries, and anywhere else I use SIGPro I can set parameters in the {gallery} tag.

DOH! Did you ever have one of those days where you thought you tried everything, and you didn't do the simple thing? Sorry to post a crazy question. :) I'll leave it in case someone else has a stupid day like I was having. :)
