Thumbnail container cuts off bottom of image was created by Concierge First LLC
Hello,

I have a viewport that is 175 px high. My image is 175 px. The bottom of the image ... just a few pixels is getting cut off. Can anyone tell me why?

Thanks.

I can't seem to get any of the thumbnail images in the print galleries to work right. I've fiddled with the settings until my fingers are worn down.

Thx.

Problem not solved. There is supposed to be a black border around the edge of all the images. I love the software ... but ... there needs to be an easy way to control how the thumbnails fit the container. i.e. If the viewports are 100 x 175 and one image is vertical and the next is horizontal, there are no controls for fitting the image the way I want it in the container. On this particular page, all the images are vertical ... three are 8.5 x 14 format and the other is 12 x 18. I can't make these look good. See attached file to see how the black border is cut off in the first image.

The theory behind this product is very good.

However, I think there are some coding issues on the thumbnail templates that need to be addressed. I am using the "elegant" template. I'm not using a caption for the thumbnails, but the template allows a 4px padding which, in this case, cut off the bottom of my image and caused the bottom margin to look off by, 4px. I modified the css and the problem went away.

The second issue, again for my specific purposes - and it wouldn't matter for a gallery of photographs - is that I have different size thumbnails on the same page. Thank goodness I remember my algebra.

Anyway, it's a good product and I would have easily paid much more for it to save the day I spent screwing around with the code.

The different size of your thumbnails is because SIG Pro resizes the photos proportionally. If you had all your big photos the same size, you wouldn't have this problem.
You can still have the same size thumbnails (by CSS) but some photos will be cut off so you just need to choose what you really want to display and do so.
