soo i have a gavick pro template that takes the first IMG inside of an article with the <img src tag and displays that image as the article image on the FRONT PAGE.

the problem i am having is with my "articles" that are only pictures... i need to add a picture to the article, then have my {gallery}.

soo an article might be like 2 lines, then 1 generic picture, then the {gallery} itself, just so it looks right on the front page.

is there any way to have my template grab the first image from the {gallery} thumbs of that gallery?
