[Solved] No pop up engine or template layout was created by Corina Brand-Barendregt

First I tested simple image gallery and I liked it so I decided to buy the pro version.

I have installed simple image gallery pro but the images don't appear next to each other.
By clicking on the images you do not see a pop up instead a new window opens.
It look likes the popup engine and the layout templates are not working at all.

I read several articles but I could not find a working solution.

Have you tried to switch engines inside the plugin parameter, i.e. if you use a mootools Slimbox change it to jQuery Slimbox.

Yes I tried but it doesn't matter.

I think it is something in the template of the site i just tried a default template of joomla that works good, but I don't know what is missing in my own template.

Could you please check if the {gallery} tags inside the article is written in bold letters?

Yes it was bold and italic, I deleted it but it doesn't make a differance.

The problem is that no mootools is loading in your site. Could you correct your site's header because if the structure is not correct maybe that is why the plugin cannot generate the mootools in the header. You have to move the meta tag before this <html xmlns="www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> inside the tag.

I moved the metatag inside the head but it still doesn't work...

I found the problem instead of <jdoc:include type="head" /> it said <jdoc:include "head" /> in the template
