'myLytebox' is undefined was created by jhdesign

Using plugin version 2.0.5 and Popup Engine set to LyteBox

In IE8 popup doesnt work, shows this error:

Try using a different pop up engine please.

We want the slideshow effect. This is the only engine that has it working.

You probably have a conflict with another extension, so disable, check that lytebox works and start enabling them one by one in order to find which caused the conflict.
