Adding the Euro symbol in the label.txt file was created by William Fitzgerald

Hi Folks:
The label.txt file is being used to display my image gallery. But the issue is that I am trying to display the € in the label file where I have a price. I have used ftp,dreamweaver and notepad++ to edit but each change it to a "|" type look. I have heard that the symbol is tricky to get added.
Any help is appreciated.

In order to have the euro symbol, just write this next to the total:

I have added that to the label.txt file but all I get is "€369.00" on the browser side. It does not interpret "€" as a Euro symbol. Is there any other way to reflect this symbol or some code to add to some php files?
