I'm trying for 2 days now and read many topics here but my galleries won't show up in my articles or with K2 ZIP-upload. directory set to images/stories/galleries. Gallery is called ghsyst and called in my K2 Item with {gallery}ghsyst{/gallery} but the only thing shown is 'Image folder specified does not exist!'....any idea what this can be? I checked via ftp and the images are effectivly there. Also with the gallery uploas ZIP the images are uploades to the media/k2 folder but not shown as well.

Maybe, you did copy the string {gallery}myphotos{/gallery} right from the plugin-settings-panel - the description under "Details". If you paste that in your article then and only replace "myphotos" with the name of your desired folder, it doesn't work. Reason: look the source code of your article: there you'll find this:
<span class="readonly plg-desc"><strong>{gallery}myphotos{/gallery}</strong></span>
Edit the source code and remove the terms "<span class="readonly plg-desc">", "<strong>" and "</strong></span>" so that your source code only contains the pure string "{gallery}foldername{/gallery}". This did work for me.

just updated my dummy site with new plugin to test out before going on live site.

i now cannot see any of my simple image gallery pro galleries. checked permissions and everything okay.

any ideas?

btw using joomla 1.5.23 and the site is offline but let me know if u want access.

Do you by any chance use an override of the plugin?
