Can someone please tell me if it is possible to to set a fixed width only on the gallery?
The reason asking this is that I want to have a gallery that is a perfect column but I have both portrait an landscape images. (let's say 600x400 and 600x850)
I wan't my gallery to have a fixed width of 600 and the "gap" between the images to be tha same at all times.
Is that possible?
Also can I somehow choose the "gap" ?

This is a test site (in process of migration from joomla 1.0)

The first article on the front page is with SIGpro
The second is with pictures manually put.

The pictures are 400x300 and 400x533
if I set the height at 533 it leaves gaps while if I set the height at 300 it crops the protrait pictures. I want to make it, if possible look like the second article.

On joomla 1.0 it was quite easy since people who post the articles resized all the images to a fixed width and then copied couple of times {mosimage} and it did the job. Since {mosimage} does not exist in 1.5 I have to find an easy way to do the job.

I don't get it sometimes it leaves gaps and sometimes it scales and crops the picture.

The problem is that you have conflict with your template css.
What is the dimensions you have set to thumbnails via the plugin parameters?
