When I upload a zipped file in the gallery, the ID doesn't show on the SGP page. I need it because I need to display the image gallery in the articles (for example {gallery}mygallery{/gallery}) but I can't. Currently the images from the zipped file show at the end of the article and other K2 links such as related by tag, latest by author, etc.

You don't want to have a gallery per item page? You need to load more than one gallery in one article?

I'm not sure I understand your point.

Let me explain what I currently do:

1. I zip up several images into a zipped file
2. go to the K2 item, image gallery
3. upload the zip file
4. save

then I assume (and I've seen SGP youtube videos) there should be a name for the zipped file that I can include in the article to display in the article but there is no name or anything. So how can I find the name of the zipped file after upload?

Once you upload the zip file you don't have to put anything in the article. The gallery appears where the K2 template tells it to. You can rearrange the position of the gallery and the other blocks by editing the template files, after you have made a template override first.
If you want to put between the text a gallery you need to do it the old fashion way, by creating a folder in images/stories and putting your photos there. After that, use the {gallery} tag to call your gallery.
