So I gave SIG free version a try to see if it was what I wanted and it worked wonderfully. I went ahead and purchased SIG Pro, eagerly installed it, mainly because I wanted the single rather than multi thumbnail feature, but the pro version doesn't work. Instead of opening a slideshow, it opens the image that is posted as a thumbnail. See brackenhurstbaptist.org/ for an example of what I mean. (Click "Read More" on the welcome article to see where I've put the sample slidshow.)

I searched the forum first and found vague references to not using Frontpage Slideshow or AJAX Header, but since I am using neither of these I do not see that this should be creating the problem.

I can't go back to the free version because I really need the single thumbnail feature. Any ideas?

Yes, it opens in a new tab regardless of which popup engine I use. Very strange, since the free version worked fine. If I can't get it working properly (what a waste of money, in that case!) then I'll just have to use the free version again.

Ask the latest version of SIG PRO from the support email ( send also the email used during the payment to Paypal ), install it again and if doesn't work please email me an super administrator account to your panel to see what happens wrong!
