This is a conflict with your template css. Try to select a different template for SIG PRO.

I have the same problem: SIG only shows the left portion of the image when I click on enlarge (in Joomla 1.5).

The problem only appears in Firefox 4, though. Lower versions of Firefox (1.5 through 3.6) and IE6, 7 and 8 don't display this problem. I haven't tested this in Opera an Chrome yet, but will do so soon.

I used several different templates and all of them showed the same problem. Changing SIG from 2.0 to 2.1 and now to 2.2 also did not get rid of the problem.

Edit: Opera also shows no problems. It seems to be a conflict between SIG 2.x and FF 4.x.

Help?

Link to a page on my site with SIG active can be found here . The site is in Dutch, sorry for that.  ;)

As far as I can see, it only happens with Firefox 4.0. It doesn't make any difference if I use Windows 7, XP or 2000 on different computers. It happened the first time directly after upgrading to FF 4.0, with no changes to the site at all. None.

After that, I checked several different computers with several browsers: only when FF 4.0 was used, the problem occurs. Updating SIG to more recent versions (today to 2.2) did not help.

The only constant is FF 4.0. As mentioned before, older versions of FF do not have this problem. I haven't tested Chrome, but IE 6-9 and Opera (10-11) all work ok.

One other thing I noticed just minutes ago: when I press the 'prev' link in the partly shown image (using FF 4.0), it correctly switches to the previous image ánd it displays it in the correct size. After that, the entire gallery displays correctly when scrolling through it, using 'prev' and 'next'.

After closing the gallery and re-opening it, the problem appears again. This only works when there is a previous image, ofcourse, so opening the first image in the gallery is useless. You have to click on at least the second (or third, fourth, etc) image to get the 'prev' button.

Weird...

Sorry but you must ask your template provider to help you solve the css conflict with your template.

Sorry, but I have tested numerous different templates, including the standard Joomla template. With all of them, the problem persists in Firefox 4.0.

I therefore doubt that all templates are faulty and display the exact same problem in combination with SIG and Firefox 4.0, while the same problem disappears when using Firefox < 4.0, or any version > 6.0 of IE or Opera > 9.0. I haven't tested Chrome yet.

It seems SIG is just not compatible with Firefox 4.0.

Weird. I have tried even more templates from different sources now: none of them work. All of them display the same problem and all of them only in FF 4.0.

I use Joomla 1.5, btw, not 1.6.

Funny you should mention the demo site. www.joomlaworks.net/content/view/17/42/

None of the images open in a slimbox, I get new browser windows in ie7/8/9, FF4 and FF3. I think something is wrong with the plugin. I even tried it on the mac os and had the same problem. Think you guys need to investigate this some more. Your demo site functions incorrectly just like my install, new browsers windows instead of slimboxes.

Hi there,
i experience the same thing (firefox 4 on OSX and windows).. and indeed, also the demo site of joomlworks.gr with the SIG plugin doesn't work... a bit sloppy for such a good extension developer ;-)

Why is this topic death? the problem isn't solved yet.. (i think?)

cheers
niels

ps.. this a bit of the code that messes it up.. (i think)

<div id="lbCenter" style="top: 1083px; width: 250px; height: 686px; margin-left: -125px; left: 832px;" class="">

But when navigating to the next image... it is displayed in the correct size.
