I have installed "Simple images gallery" plugin and followed the guide and the gallery does not display correctly and just simply displays your galler code script of {gallery}gallername{/gallery}.

Anyone can help? I cannot see the gallery appear on my website under roof folder

Did you enable the plugin?

I have the same problem and the plugin is enabled.

Running Joomla! 1.5.22

path where pictures are stored is /public_html/images/stories/photos/

Path in plugin config: images/stories (default)

Ideas on how to resolve are welcomed :)

According to your post you should have joomla installed in /public_html/.

Now if the path for your pictures is images/stories and your gallery called photos then you must have your pictures in images/stories/photos/

From the text editor you should have entered {gallery}photos{/gallery}.

If after checking all that you still cannot see a thing, check the folder security and make sure that www-data has read permission.
