I've just installed the simple image gallery but the images are showing in my articles as a list rather than  a grid. Has anybody had this problem and know the solution?

From the documentation the instruction was to enter  {gallery}images/photos{/gallery} into the article. That did'nt work, so i tried {gallery}photos{/gallery} which worked but in a list view.

You'll see there's an error message at the top of the page, which i don't understand.

I did'nt get a reply  to the last message i posted on this topic for many days so i uninstalled the Simple Image Gallery and re-installed it in a Joomla! 1.6 subdirectory, as opposed to the 1.7 one - it is now working ok. This is probably why you did'nt see what you were looking for.

I must say, i'm a bit unhappy with the slow response by Joomla works to forum posts. When i did'nt hear anything on this topic for days, i went to the Pro versions' forum to enquire whether there was a direct email contact for after sales service for the Pro version, but i did'nt get a response.

I was checking the forum everyday for about five days to see if i had received a reply but there was nothing. I thus decided that  if the pre-sales customer service is this bad, then after-sales customer service must be worse and my money would be better spent somewhere else.

We focus mainly on our commercial products due to lack of time.
SIG plugin is a free plugin and the community forum exists in order other users give or get support from the community.
