I've built my own template in Joomla! and have tried several different image galleries, yet none have worked.

Something is overriding the style of the gallery. All I see are the images, a black circle to the left of the image (which tells me the CSS isn't applied because it shows the images as li's, with decoration), and when you click on the image, it opens in a separate tab.

I have some JavaScript being referenced in seprate folders on the site.

I can't seem to figure out where these overrides are coming from. Whether it's the JS or the CSS. I've tried removing all JS ref's in the Index.php and that has yet to do the trick.

Any advice or other things to look at would be great.

I just have some default images in my directory for now.

Check the requirements paragraph in SIG documentation please.

I checked the phpInfo() on the server and the GD image library IS enabled.

Does anyone have any advice for this issue???
