Hi everyone

this is wrecking my head  ???  I'm sure that someone has had this issue before! I've installed simple image gallery and enabled it set up the path and added images to folder but when I go to the article, and enter {gallery}folder_name{/gallery} save and refresh the page all that appears is the text and no gallery!! please please please help!!

I'm using Joomla 2.5 with K2 user profiles would like the gallery to appear on the profile page

Yes I have enabled the plugin, I'm also experiencing the same issue with an audio player which I'm trying to embed but that just displays text also. I've made sure that there are no tags such as <p></p> or <span> surrounding the text but nothing works!

What am I missing?

Since you use K2, did you upload your gallery via K2 item Image Gallery tab?

I uploaded the photos using the media manager within K2 and set the path to images/stories, the thing is its not even displaying the gallery. I also tried it in an article and used the normal Joomla images folder but had no luck with that either. Its like as you said earlier that the plugin is not enabled. I have tried disabling it and re-enabling it but no good either. Any ideas?

Simple Image Gallery is not compatible with K2.
You should use Simple Image Gallery Pro plugin.

I am having exactly the same problem. I am trying to use the plugin in a standad Joomla article (not K2) and all I see is the text, no image gallery. The plugin is enabled and the images are in "public_html/Images/Stories". Just does not seem to work or am I missing something?

What is the root directory path you have set in plugin settings?
Provide us with a link to your gallery page please.
