I'm have tried to search for a solution in google but i have found nothing related to my problem.
I have made a gallery in images folder called buttons
In article I wrote like: {gallery}buttons{/gallery}

and in frontend I see this instead of the gallery: {gallery}buttons{/gallery}
I tried to see if there is an issue on plugin code but i haven't found nothing except the fact that the php is working but the article is not interpreting this command to use it.

can you give me a solution? I am using joomla 3.1

Make sure that the plugin is enabled and you have correct permissions for your files and folders.

Right permissions on all joomla sites:
755 for folders
644 for files

Please install Admin Tools from www.akeebabackup.com/downloads/admin-tools.html in order to fix your permissions as they should be and then reinstall the extension.

The plugin is active and there are all permissions right.

Any other ideas?

Make sure that the plugin is the first one among content plugins on the list of the Extensions -> Plugin manager.
If that doesn't solve your issue please PM us access to your backend to check it out.

I am having the same problem. I have enabled the plugin & followed all directions provided, however, all that displays is the path. Not sure what to do at this point or how to fix problem. Can you please advise? Any assistance would be appreciated!

Hi. How are you displaying the code? Is it a Joomla! article? If you have used a module , it should support content plugins.

I have tried using it in a module and in a Joomla article. I'm getting the same results either way. All that shows is: {gallery}before_after/combined_ashley{/gallery} and a message error that states:

JFolder: :files: Path is not a folder. Path: /home/cbh/public_html/images/before_after/combined_ashley

There was a problem rendering your image gallery. Please make sure that the folder you are using in the Simple Image Gallery plugin tags exists and contains valid image files. The plugin could not locate the folder: images/before_after/combined_ashley

When you get the error it means that the plugin was triggered but it could not find the path. Are you sure that the folder images/before_after/combined_ashley contains images?
