IE okay, but Firefox, Safari and Netscape problems was created by writeonwoman
I have installed this component and have noted that in all of the above-noted browsers (except IE) the large image comes up, but then disappears, only to reappear as half the image when mouse over, showing the 'Next' or 'Prev' links depending on which half the mouse is over. I note that on the Pro version links on your site(s) that SIG works perfectly in each of these browsers. How can I fix this inconsistency?

I have the same problem. Were you able to fix the problem?

No, I have not resolved the problem - it might be the version of joomla I am using on that particular site because I note it works differently than on another site with another version of joomla - still not perfect, but better. I am disappointed that no one has commented on this problem.

It's ok in IE and Safari, but there's problems in firefox and definitely in opera. The layout is completely screwed in opera.

Hi I need help too..
In IE it's all ok but in firefox Picture opens but only a white screen. I've tried another template and that didn't solve the problem. When I look at the sourcecode I can't detect any conflicting scripts. I use the same files on another website and everything there is ok. I can't find the answer so any help is welcome.
Thanks in advance
Danny

hey danny,
take out the parentheses in the file name (change the naming convention) and you should be fine. I had this problem earlier. Took me a while to figure it out. good luck.

I am a bit confused here ... where exactly did you remove the parentheses from??? - editing a file or is this is in a content file?

Hi,
You have to remove the paretheses from the filename (the image-filename). When you do this everything is ok.
