sig and pdf creation was created by Nektarios Servos
Hi all,
The pdf  function  in joomla(1.0.x) does  not display the images  when there are images in the contents (using the {mosimage} tag ). So  I installed "tcpdf" and a modified "includes/pdf.php" available in a greek joomla 1.0.13 version and the job is done (can read a single img and then display it in the pdf).

The above does not work (does not display the images) with the sig plugin, I guess because  the plugins reads an entire dir , not a single image.

1) Is there any tip , so that the plugin could work with a single img, not with an entire dir, i.e. like {gallery}path-to-images/image.jpg{/gallery} , so that the "tcpdf" could display the image?

2) Does the sig pro  have a functionality like 1) ?

3) Consider this as a request: Could be a custom (and commercial) sig pro  version with the above functionality ?

I would very much appreciate for any help

regards,
Nektarios

Current version of SIG does not support be printed with the PDF function. I would image this can be added with an future version. Or it is allready a part of the plugin.

If that functionality was to be added. Not sure if you could just print one image. Rather that every picture is printed as thumbs.

@nektarios

Currently no. We will add such a feature soon in both free and PRO versions.

hello there,

I have the image gallery pro with k2 and joomla 1.5 (also tabspro, but that was not why it is not going ok).
When printing de k2 item you do not get the images, ony the main image (itemimage), at the printer / pdf.

We have seen inside the print.css but thats not helping the printer.
We have seen that the cause is that the image is inside the css, and the transparant image is getting on the paper / pdf :D
So when we adjust that to getting the image in place of the transparant image (and not css) it is working, but than the image is not croped nice.

Than we worked on a other fix:
It looks like we can fix it with edit media:screen removing screen and remove the print css and than:

<div style="width:<?php echo $photo->width; ?>px;height:<?php echo $photo->height; ?>px;overflow:hidden;position:relative;">
      <img src="<?php echo $photo->thumbImageFilePath; ?>" style="position:absolute;" alt="<?php echo JText::_('JW_SIGP_LABELS_08').' '.$photo->filename; ?>" title="<?php echo JText::_('JW_SIGP_LABELS_08').' '.$photo->filename; ?>">
    </div>

Also some file from k2 we needed to adjust, same thing, the printfunction seems to not print images. (like it is done because you do not want the images inside printpage?)
Could be we are doing it wrong and we just need to adjust an other small thing but than what? The printcss is not printing it correctly.
