explorer crashs randomly when opening the site and gives error( cannot open internet site XXX) . Firefox works perfectly bytheway. if i remove the sig mambot, problem solves automatically.
i am using Sig V1.2.1 and allvideo plugin on the same page, can this cause the error ?
thanks.

you can check here: www.haberama.com
in the end we have nothing in our hands and i don't want to use the 3rd version becuse its more of a gallery style.
Coders pls share your opinions with us, eventhough there is no solution.(i tried 4 or 5 other templates including the built in versions and the sound of error echoed again in my ears :'( )

Well, lets recap all your observations!
When the sig run under IE6-7 you have this IE issue, right?
This issue is it presented only when at the same page run sig and allvideo, or when run only sig?
you have tryed to change the template to the "default template" of joomla, to see if the issue still exist?
have anybody a link to provide me to see the problem "live"?
Thank you!

when i uninstall this mambot. The error stops.
Here i read it's probably the combination with posting a youtube video with allvideo. Which i did as well.
I posted a youtube video on the frontpage and also a sig picture on the frontpage but that must be the problem. even if i unpublish the post with the youtube video and republish the mambot Simple Image Gallery Plugin. it still gives the error.
It's really a damn shame cause i can't live whitout the Simple Image Gallery Plugin.
here is my error message in joomla forum: forum.joomla.org/index.php/topic,184154.msg875685.html#msg875685
If a tech wants too help you can email me at bigdread{[at}]gmail.com. I can easely remake the problem. For good understanding : i don't have the error right now because i unpublished the Simple Image Gallery Plugin. (www.dunetune.nl)

Could please somebody look into this problem? Apparently a lot of people are suffering from this problem. Is there no solution?
Look the problem persist when you unpublish the youtube video from the frontpage.
so once you have the problem, it keeps on coming back!
that means i can't use the Simple Image Gallery Plugin anymore and will have to look for another solution.
I use the standard joomla template.

Well yes, I can provide you with a link to show you the problem live. For the moment the problem doesn't occure, would look rather amaturistic, but i can publish the Simple Image Gallery Plugin and the error will appear immediately.
I gave already my emailadress so please contact. I'm sure lots of other people have this problem because the plugins are really superb. But unfortunately, they don't work together on the frontpage.

It seems that when a youtube movie is embedded in the page, it only works when there is no popup image available.. which is not only in the Simple Image Gallery, but also in the JCE Editor.
II found this out that when looking on my frontpage, with youtube and an image which popups through the JCE, the error message occured. When i unpublished the content item from the frontpage, the error message in IE7 was gone...
Also when i made the image just a normal image and took away the lightbox popup, the error was gone.
So i think i can almost certainly say that the allvideo plugin does not work on the same page as a "slimbox" or "lightbox" image.
Hopefully the coders and progammers can do something with this and finally release a patch..
For the people who have this same problem please reply, or leave a message how YOU solved it!

Hi again!
Well, those problems have to do (95%) with conflicts with js or css of the template in use!
I tryed 1 million times in the DEFAULT template of joomla, under IE6-7 and FF, to have in the same page, bought Allvideos (youtube) and SIG, and i did it!Yes, works just fine with me!
The default template of Joomla doesn't have all those js or css files as have the various templates we can see today!
Well... if anybody have problem with those 2 please try this!
At the file plugin_jw_allvideos.php try to comment the line
$_MAMBOTS->registerFunction( 'onPrepareContent', 'botgznoclicktoactivate' );
This can help you!
Thank you!

First of all, thanks for your quick reply!
Bur unfortunately this doesn't work.. Refreshed IE, cleared the cache, tried again on several pc's.. But no luck :(
I use the JA_Zibal theme from Joomlart, my site is www.almelo-on-tour.nl
Any other suggestions? If the problem is in my template and js or the css is causing this, where can i look to fix this?

FF works ok, but IE 6 not,,,, turned off all_video plugin and now SIG is working fine, IE 7 I have not used yet...
not sure what I will do if I need both but there is a conflict somewhere there,,
could all videos has a newer version of a js that is used by both systems, or visa versa .. that is my theory anyway.... ;)
cheers

Reading this, I had an idea about the same issue.
I suspected that my flash-rotator module could be the problem. I've removed it (now I don't have it published on the same sites where I have SIG galleries).
AND IT WORKS !
Do you have flash-rotators or something like this? Try not to have it on the same site.
UPDATE: It seems that the conflict depends on position of the modules.
On one site, I have the same Flash Rotator module v 2.5 on the banner position, and it works with SIG with no conflict.
