Multiple Issuews with SIG was created by The Wickens' Ministry
When SIG works it looks great, and its usage seems very easy. However, I am having several problems. I am using Joomla 1.0.15 btw.

1. On Firefox the thumbnails load but in one long column which is kind of irritating and I do not think that is meant to happen.
2. When I click the thumbnails the lightbox thing jumps into action but no image loads, just a plain white background.
3. When I try it with IE7 it will not even load. It simply says, Internet Explorer Cannot Open the internet site www.thewickens.info - Operation Aborted. (The thumbnails are laid out properly though!)

I was using Picasa and embedding the slideshows but that option seems to have disappeared.

Any help would be appreciated.

Quick update.

The images not appearing even though they showed in thumbnails must have been to do with the naming of the files. I renamed them with some adjustments and they load fine now with Firefox. However, the thumbnails are still in one column...

IE7 still will not load the page at all.

Here is the page: thewickens.info/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=324&Itemid=36

IE7 and Firefox both load the demo sites fine so it is something to do with me I know...

Hello everyone.  I am running Joomla! 1.5.x and I am having the same problem - all the images in Firefox ONLY load in a vertical line.  This is particularly annoying, as they seem to load perfectly in both IE7 and Apple Safari.  Is this something to do with the way that Firefox automatically interprets CSS?  Do I have to stipulate a layout just for Firefox from within the .php/.css files?

I would very much appreciate any input.

Hi,

I am experiencing the same issue with Firefox and thumbnail display.

Thumbnails are loading one by one in a vertical column...or they are randomly scattered...or they load perfectly sometimes, seems TOTALLY random.  It is frustrating because I can not identify a pattern.

Internet Explorer seems to display them perfectly every time.

Ok I was having the same issue with firefox.  Go back into your plugin manager and change the thumbsize of your images.  Hight and width.  Once I made them smaller problem solved.  I think it has to do with the size of your template.

In general I have noticed that size layouts are diff in both.  In mine right now in IE you see 4 columns in firefox you see 3.

flourishbouquet.com if you want to see.

I am having issues though with IE and the way the navigation tip shows up.

Hi Mitokat, thank you for your reply.

I tried making my thumbs smaller and it seems to work well...most of the time.  The problem is that sometimes when the page loads in firefox the thumbs are still in a vertical column or randomly scattered.  I will keep experimenting with making them smaller and smaller.  Thanks again for the reply.
