I was trying to solve a problem with no success..

As you can see in this page:

I would like to have a movie and a photogallery oh the same page using Simple Image Gallery and AllVideos Plugin.

Both the plugins are working fine (I think they're great actually) if they run by theirselves (I mean if you use just one of these plugins on a single page).
But if you try to use both of them at the same time they're not working properly:
- in explorer you cannot see the video at all (you just see the pictures)
- in firefox you can see both of them but if you start the slideshow when you close it the video disappears (it is still there but it's not visible anymore)

I tryed to play with the html in the content item.. and I tryed to have a look to the javascripts files (I think the problem is in there) with no results..

Does anyone know how to fix this? (I wouldn't change these plugins because they are really good! a part of this problem)

I've experienced the same problem!

This page www.xero-competition.com/cms/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=6&Itemid=33 is a newsflash page, I have had to prevent it displaying at the bottom of...

This page www.xero-competition.com/cms/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1 otherwise the video plug-in doesn't function, you just get a big empty space!**

Originally there was no gallery in the news flash page, it displayed at the bottom of the front page and the video plug-in worked. When I put the three pics as a gallery in the flash page they displayed at the bottom as well, and the video plug-in stopped working.

**PS I know it looks like there's a blank space in the page even though the video plug-in is working. That's because the flv file has a blank black bg until it starts playing, and the page is black! Trying to work out how to make the flv file display a still frame when the page loads. We don't wan't the player to auto-run.

In my case:
I'm not using Azrul's comment system
I'm using a modified version of the default madeyourweb template and I also tryed the default  rhuk_solarflare_ii template.. same problem.

Anyway I noticed that the problem is just with .flv files.

I'm using a quinck time movie on a different page with no problems

I expirience the same problem. When the page contains SIG the AllVideosPlugin doesn't work for local mp3 streaming. I was forced to use another mp3 streaming plugin (which, by the way, supports colors customization). Still AllVideosPlugin works fine for YouTube and GoogleVideo movies with SIG at the same page.

I am not able to get your SIG mambot working on Virtuemart pages . However, I can get it to work on a regular content page . How were you able to do it for your client?

Any ideas?

Ok. Figured it out. Thanks to this page on the VM forums. Apparently, extra code needs to be added to initialize content mambots in VM pages. The new VM 1.1 will not have this issue.

Also, if you go back to the VM page on my web site (linked above), you will see that I have changed the mambot code to use Thickbox instead of Lightbox - just a matter of preference.
