Just got a mail from my client to say that his gallery is not working.. Go online and check and sure enough, little red crosses where all the images are.. When i click on the cross the lightbox is working and the image is displayed, but no thumbnails..

Did some more searching here on the forum and found one other post where it happened in the past to people and have tried all the permissions changes on the various files but still not working.. GD2 is installed and working fine?

Any other ideas what this issue is?! Not sure how it can just change like that when it has been working fine since first implementation a couple of months ago?!?!

I'm having the same issue!  My thumbnails show up as red x's, yet if I click on one of them, the picture comes up fine in full size.  I've tried just about everything that I can think of.  Any help would be appreciated.

I had the same problem but I managed to fix it  :)

In the plugin_jw_sig.php and showthumb.php there is a rootfolder variable pointing to /images/stories/. I do not have my images there so I always had to start with ../gallery/... so I guess the problem was permission related with the first upward move in the directory structure. So I just changed the variable to '/images/' which solved it for me.
