Dear friends,

Please help me with the following. I made a website in a couple of languages and every language is a separate system - separate joomla instalation. I'd love those language versions to share one gallery folder.. So the folder structure on the server would look like:
/language1
/language2
/language3
/imggallery
Is it possible to feed SIG with files from that folder? This would save me trouble and some server space.
If any modifications to plugin files are needed.. please give me a hint. If any redirection trick is out there.. help me :)

No the plugin path should be set to folder under your Joomla! installation. The only way to do this is hack the plugin, however this is not a good idea.

I know that solution isn't perfect.. but can you give me a hint how to hack it? :) I edited the file manually but I probably messed something up as it didn't work. Even if I hard code the path it seems not enough..

Unfortunately, i cannot give you just a hint, this involves a lot of changes in the code. The two files you need to hack are helper.php and jw_sig.php.
