Inside my joomla site i have installed the Simple image gallery component. I need to create a gallery within a .php file always internally joomla. The problem is that the "{gallery} path {/ gallery}" function works only in the articles. can it run it out of an article / form?

since the gallery and /gallery are tags that are found by the plugin, i am guessing not, but there could be a way
havent trying to embed the tags in a module to see what would happen
You might look at the default code that displays a gallery in the item.php and move it to where you want it instead of using the tags

It is possible but you will need to manually trigger Joomla!'s content plugins through Joomla!'s API.
You will need to read Joomla!'s docs for this one.
