I am trying to use the SIG in conjuction with AMP. Sig is a good plugin, I really want to use it but I am having no luck getting the sig images to display on AMP pages. The developers say it has something to do with sig loading images using javascript lazy loading but this is not compatible with the Google AMP format. Can this not be disabled or changed to support Google AMP? It would be GREAT because I have over 200 galleries.

Hello there,

We are not using lazyload or another JS script to load the images.
Unfortunately Google AMP does not support background images out of the box. You will need to override the template a bit. The <img tag's src attribute needs to be the image (use CSS to hide it) instead of the transparent.gif file.
Google thinks that the image is the transparent.gif instead of the actual file which is rendered as a background image.
