Problem using SIG with Moomenu was created by Rainman51
Hi folks,
first I want to show my respect for the people who made this wonderfull plugin :-*
great job, keep it up!
Second, i encounterd a problem/bug in Joomla 1.5
I use SIG 1.2.1r2_j1.5 on my site were a dropdown menu using moomenu.js is on the top of the page.
The moomenu works fine on all pages except on the pages where I use SIG.
There the submenu's of the dropdown are not shown anymore. :(
Does anybody have that same issue? :-\
I would like to give you a link to my site, but I am currently running it locally (go live planned beginning 2009)
I have searched this forum for a fix, but didn't find it (maybe not good enough?)
Hoping on a solution....
Regards

I am having the exact same problem. Seem like SIG stops all menu functions when using it.
Well, the submenu shows but disappears when you try to click it.
Hope someone can help.

i also had the same problem. i investigated a little bit and recognized that the files mootools.js (from SIG) and moomenu.js are in conflict...
after searching 2 hours for another comparable image gallery - believe me, SIG is really not beatable - i started to search for an alternative menu system ... and found one that works perfectly with SIG. i even had not to adapt any style - it directly worked for me.
use the superfish drop down menu: extensions.joomla.org/extensions/core-enhancements/menu-systems/drop-&-tab-menus/6731/details
settings: "accordeon list". that's all.
hope that helped - bye,
stefan

I got the similar problem... :(
Menu hover effect doesn't show while browsing the galleries... I'm using 'Suckerfish' menu system..
But it only happens while browsing with IE (6), Firefox works perfectly...
