I downloaded the free version of these extensions for Joomla 1.0, since that's what I'm running.  I installed them both and both said they were installed succesfully.  I followed the instructions, creating the proper folders with the material in the FTP, in the location is said to put the folders.  I then put the tags in the locations I wanted either the embedded video or image gallery appear and inserted the proper tag; {gallery}folder name{/gallery}  or {swf}filename.swf{/swf} (putting the actual name of the file or folder where it belonged of course)
But it didn't work, nothing showed up.  I double checked everything, even renamed some things to match the example and copied and pasted everything in - I tried everything, still nothing.

What am I missing?  I took "FREE EXTENSIONS & TEMPLATES" and "free products" as meaning these extensions, being in that section, were free and didn't require any other installations in conjunction to make them work.  Am I wrong in that assumption?  Is there something that needs to be installed, something that needs to be activated?

I have it activated - now though, sometimes the objects appear, like the window of the video player, but the video doesn't play (and sometimes, depending on the type of video extension, nothing appears at all) - and even though it enabled now, still nothing appears at all when using the gallery tags.

The simple image gallery doesn't do anything at all; doesn't show anything.  AllVideos...I don't know what it's doing.  The only format that seems to work with it the Flash SWF files - any other video format you try to link to using the AllVideos tags and the box for the video will appear, but the video itself doesn't and nothing plays when you click the play button.

When you do an SWF flash video, it comes up the way it should, only it plays right away, without any controls; and there doesn't seem to be any options to put any in.
