I need some advice being a newbie using Simple Image Gallery Pro.
Reading the supporttext below I can understand there is a labels.txt-file automatically created when enableing the option Deafault caption.
BUT I cant find it and less edit it.
What am I supposed to do?


Simply enable the related option "Default caption (label) handling" in the plugin parameters and the required labels.txt file for each gallery will be automatically generated with some sample text in. All you have to do then is simply open and edit the labels.txt file of the gallery for which you want to have captions. You can freely use HTML inside the description, just make sure you have one caption per line. After you edit the labels.txt file for a gallery, you would end up with something like:

I understand how to use HTML to alter the captions, but I cannot find the location the labels.txt file.
Please tell me, I am going crazy trying to locate it! I have looked in the html editor view.

I found it in the Media Manager in the folder with the images. ;D

As @ajvanart says above the file's location is inside the images folder of each of your galleries.

I had no idea how to open the labels.txt. file in Joomla in order to edit it. In an attempt to solve this problem I inserted the link location in my browser, copied the text and made a new .txt file with the captions I wanted. However now I can't figure out how to upload my new labels.txt file to my image folder.

Can someone please help me?

Do you have FTP access to your joomla site? If you do, go to the images folder location and after you find the labels.txt file download it, edit it and upload it again to the same location. Be careful to save the file as UTF-8 encoding.
